One of the many good things about living in Australia is the easy and CHEAP access to OZOTIC polishes! YYYYAAAAYYY. Bought on Wed, arrived on Monday (today) the next week. Altogether this polish coat me $21, including shipping. Considering a standard OPI polish from DJ's or Petra is $20, I'd say this is good bang for you buck! I purchased mine from piCture pOlish. Both companies, piCture pOlish and Ozotic are Australian owned. I feel I have the right to blab (and brag) on because I have about 10 pictures of this multichrome heaven. It's honestly the best polish I own. If everyone knew about Ozotic and their incredible multichromes, no one would care about Clarins 230, dubbed Unicorn Pee. ONTO PICTURES!
This little baby is Ozotic 505 or, as it's affectionately known amongst the fans, Eclipse. 505 has a forest green base that shifts from blue to purple to orange and red. IT IS MAGNIFICANT! This is one coat of 505 over two coats of China Glaze Liquid Leather.
Indirect sunlight. The green is the main colour.
This was taken indoors. Again with just one coat on 505 but you can really see the multichromatic shifts.
After this photo, I decide to add another layer of 505.
Comparing this photo to the last, you can really see the difference the second coat of 505 makes.
It's a lot fuller with a second coat and doesn't have a black undertone. Which I did like, but c'mon, I don't care about black at the moment!
These were all taken inside. In indirect light the multichrome pigment sort of blends together as a opposite to the sunlight or flash where you can see the micro-pigmentations. Either way, it's just gorgeous. Ozotic, you are FAST becoming of my favourite brands. And when I get paid next week I am most definitely buying a Mish Mash (a holographic multichrome, *salvates*)!

I should be doing homework, but I'm not.
Today I was in the mood for a tomato-y creme. However until the Nicole by OP Kardashian Kolors comes out in Oz, I don't have the one I want. I am dying to own Kourt is Red-y for a Pedi. I know there is nothing special about that colour. But it's exactly what I want. Fingers cross it comes out next week. Anyway, the last couple of days have been about flakies for me. My Nubar 2010 finally arrived! Yay! I did have it on yesterday but I didn't take photos. I'll take some when I feel like wearing black again. I was looking through my stash and I came across this.
This is China Glaze Lemon Fizz. And let me tell you, it's satisfied by hunger for cremes. It's the creme-iest creme that ever cremed a creme. (That sounds wrong, aye?). No joke, is so good. Now I am not a fan of yellows or polishes that are this light, and I only bought this to do a pastal water marble for my best friend's 21st party. But I friggen love this to pieces. I think because it is so creamy.
In these photo you can really see how badly my nails are shaped in this photo. (I'm letting them grow freely for a bit) but I swear this colour makes them look flawlessly square IRL. The polish goes on streaky, as to be expected, but evens out on the 2nd coat. I used a 3rd because I had to hiccups at the time and kept messing up. HAHAHA!
This polish is the reason I love a cremes. After all my polish motto is "I love a good creme!" ;)

Inglot 204 Alternative
Yesterday I wasn't happy with 204 over the navy so I swatched a couple of other colours and came up with this baby! It's OPI From A to Zurich. My favvvvvvooourite red. It so creamy, warm and berri-y. Ha!
It really bring out the iridescent shift of the flakes. Gorgeous purple, blurple (love that word!) and blue. It looks so royal and icy at the same time. I think the berrier your red is, the better 204 is going to look over it. It's a beautiful contrast. Subtle yet fancy. I just love it! Now this is worth $16 for an 8ml bottle. That's the down side.
I did ask the lady in the store why it only come in a teeny tiny bottle and this is what she said; "Because you don't use much of it." SERIOUSLY? You're going to say that to a nail polish addict? Just 'cause it's only for layering doesn't mean I want to run out of it in 6 months! HMPH!

Another NOTD
Yesterday I went out an purchased Inglot 204. For those of you that don't know, it's a iridescent FLAKIIIEEEE! Exciting right! Looks gorgeous in the bottle. I decided to hit it with a base of OPI Road House Blue (my go-to blue) then added 204.
I don't think I love this combination, I feel the blue of RHB takes away the duochrome because in the bottle the flakes shift from purple to blue to green and here you can just see the blue. This was taken out in direct sunlight.
So I added Essie Matte About You. It not duochromey enough for me but I still love it matte. I think RHB is too dark and it doesn't let 204 stand out enough. I think I might try a white base next time.
PS. sorry about my cuticles. I have a bad nail month. Boohoo

NOTD
I went to my local nail polish shop and behold, they had the greatest polish ever. Layla Magneffects polish! OMGG! Never, in a million years, did I think Layla polished would make it Oz, let along my humble nail supplies store. Two full whole racks, they had. In about ten different colours! I bought the Mojito Green because I haven't seen many people on the net with green magnet polish. Onto the photos!
I had a wee bit of trouble with it because my nails are fairly curved so it wouldn't do the full nail and then I would accidentally touch the nail and smudge it, ugh! But OH! I love it soooo much! I want more colours! NOW! Sadly I am broke, having not working 2 months due to my broken foot! Had I not told you? Oh well I start work again next week, hopely! MORE PICTURES!
A really horrible thing happened yesterday. I was on set of a short film, and I didn't have a nail file with me and nails were starting to peel. WAHHHHH! My nail don't peel! I don't know what is going on with that. So I cut them back heaps, and they now they are disgustingly short. And just when I was starting to get the length back. So distraught.

NOTD
Hey guys, so I'm trying the whole "write up now and post on a delay". The interwebz is cool, aye? This is Zoya Yara with the accent red as China Glaze Scarlet. I have a love/hate relationship with Yara. Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't. I feel its too dark. But at the same time I like it because it has gorgeous gold micro glitter in it. I need to get my hands on Zoya Gemma. Now that's an army green for Summer! This army green colour is really in at the moment huh? Back on point; because of this shaky relationship I wanted an accent to break it up.
I felt this was too stark, so I taped my nails up and cover my nails in Essie Matte About You. The end result.
I should've kept it shiny, Yara looks much nicer with a gloss but I'm running outta Seche and it's so damn gluggy (Gotta get me some Seche Restore!).
Here it is with the flash on.
This whole taking macro shots... I think I'm getting the hang of it now!

NOTD
Today I have for you something different for you. A neon red-orange jelly. I love colour so much. So squishy. It's an Australian brand callled Oroton (bags and accessory company, anyone?). The colour is called Grenadine.
The formula isn't the best, it's a tad gluggy and the brush is too wide (bigger than OPI Pro Wide) but I just LOVE the colour. Sometimes I can't even put my finger on what colour it is. Is it red, is it orange? And it's neon, when was the last time you saw a red neon... that's a jelly too? That's a winner in my books! Makes up for the bad formula! I used three coats here and there's still a little VNL, but thankfully it doesn't show up much in the pictures!

NOTD
A nice summery NOTD for a nice summery day. We don't get very many of them here in Melbourne. Sure it gets hot but only for a day we go back to the other 3 season for the week. So here is OPI Planks A Lot with OPI I Lily Love You.
Looks stunning in the sun! I really love it. What I also love is how my nails are finally getting longer! I haven't been able to grow them properly since the end of September. Eugh! October was a bad month to start this blog. Ohh well.

So this is tricky mani to capture, even more so with my pathetic excuse of a camera! I started with Zoya Arrej from the Summertime collection. I have to say, I love this collection. I know they aren't very original in terms of colour and I don't understand why there are two near identical reds but I really love it. So summery. I'll probably end up buy the whole collect next big pay check. Anyway, this is Zoya Areej with OPI Pink Shatter on top. Here are the photos.
It looks crap in these photos, but I assure you it's beautiful. I don't much like shatter anymore. Too busy and too, let's face it, done to death. But I found this subtle and Areej made for a great base under Pink Shatter which is fairly translucent.
Enjoy. Again, so sorry about the terrible photos!

OMG I forgot!
That last post I forgot to add who I was listening to the while I was writing the post. So here is something just a little bit special.
City and Colour with P!nk - What Makes A Man
Dallas Green, the singer and guitar of Alexisonfire (RIP, but always in my life) and current singer/guitarist of City and Colour. This man is my hero, my idol. He is the person I aspire to be. Down to earth, happy, modest, talent and honest. I had the pleasure of meeting him in April this year after his Melbourne show. It was cold and 1am, and he was tired and jetlagged He stayed for an hour to sign and take photos, and actually talk to us. He spoke to us, not like we were fans but we were new acquaintances. I respect him so much.
Anyway, this is him with P!nk, who I think has one of the most unique voices in the pop industry. I've always liked P!nk, and now I respect her taste in music!

Galaxy Nails
I know, I know. Typical hipster, cliched nails that every girl with a tumblr does. But that's not to say that it's not fabulously fun and an easy manicure. I just LOVVVVVEEEDDD this manicure! Super easy. Anyone that tells you otherwise is just over complicating it. Keep it simple is my best advice. I know a lot about mixing colours because used to paint in high school, so maybe its a tad easier for me. Anyways here are the colours I used.
From left to right: Orly Goth, OPI Road House Blues, China Glaze For Audrey, China Glaze Peachy Keen, China Glaze Lemon Fizz, OPI Alpine Snow and Sally Hansen Disco Ball.
It's really simple. Start with the black, Orly Goth, dab on RHB with a bigger section of sponge, then For Audrey, Peachy Keen and Lemon Fizz. Each colour use less polish and a smaller section of sponge. There are more stars in the centre of nebula so the most colour and lightest colour goes in the middle, leaving the darker blues to the edges of the nebula. I then used the white, Alpine Snow, to lighten up the nebula in the middle. But be careful how much white you use, because it can cover up the orange and yellow. I then used AS and a pin for the stars. I think I did the starts to big and it kind of covers the nebula a bit. But different size stars are the key. Small stars compared to big stars look awesome! My favourite was my thumb.
After I have finished I cover it with Disco Ball, a clear polish with small different coloured glitter. Also I think you can skip this step, because the nebula and stars are already busy enough. Add your Seche and you're ready to go. For all those wondering Orly Goth is the most exciting black I've ever come across, a black creme with solid silver micro particles. Love love love!
